I went on the dog walk yesterday and had fun. Unfortunately, it was too hot out, and Dakota could only go for about fifteen minutes before we had to turn around. Hopefully, it'll be cooler on the next walk. There were about eight or nine dogs in the group.

Dakota met some new friends including Sam (shown in photo). Don't they look cute together? :) There's a 122 pound difference between them. It's hard to believe that they're both the same species.

They're having a Halloween walk in October, and the dogs will be in costume. I'm thinking of dressing Dakota up as Capt. Jack Sparrow, but I'm not sure if I will. I don't know what I'll dress Canyon up as. Any suggestions for costumes?

Doug's mommies bought some Indian print fabric and some banded feathers to make him an Indian costume. I thought they should dress him in a Little Orphan Annie dress since he looks so much like Sandy.

While we are at the park yesterday, they were having a "Rosary Bowl." It was really bizarre (and PACKED). It hadn't actually started yet when I was there, but the "Go, Jesus!" and "Score one for God's team!" signs that the people were carrying made me want to stick around and see what it was all about. I'm picturing men in Jesus costumes running around and tossing a football back and forth. I have a feeling I'd have been disappointed. ;)
